600gsm 12k plain carbon fibre fabric is ideal material for building up thickness of your laminate. It is 3 times thicker than 200gsm plain carbon fibre fabric with a small price difference per sqm. The material is quite stiff compared to 200gsm and 400gsm carbon fibre fabrics. It is perfect for flat panels and not so complex shaped parts. Consider using lighter and more pliable fabrics when working with extreme curves or shapes, especially when doing a wet lay-up.
