This 3k plain weave carbon fibre fabric is the second most popular material used in composite manufacturing. The material is suitable for hand laminating (wet lay-up), vacuum bagging, resin infusion and carbon fibre skinning. Plain weave carbon fibre fabric does not have the same drapability as twill weave carbon fibre fabric. Consider using twill weave carbon fibre fabric when working with curved/complex shapes or making joins if you want to stick with the plain weave finish.
