Kit contains:
- 0.3sqm of 200gsm twill carbon fibre fabric
- 500ml laminating epoxy resin
- 160ml epoxy hardener
- 125ml black epoxy pigment
- 2 pairs of gloves, 3 mixing cups, mixing sticks, 3 brushes
- Sand paper A4 sheets 120, 240, 400, 600 and 1200 grit
When unrolled the carbon fibre fabric is 1000mm long and 300mm wide.
Description
Carbon fibre skinning is a process of laminating an existing part with carbon fibre fabric. It is mainly done for cosmetic appearance but lamination will add durable finish to the original part.
Carbon Fibre Skinning Kit contains 200gsm twill weave carbon fibre fabric and laminating epoxy resin system which is ideal for laminating, skinning or wet lay-up.
Because this kit uses only top quality materials it is as equally suited for novice experimentation as for small scale professional use.
Use this kit for:
- Carbon fibre skinning
- Reinforcing an existing product
- Repairing a product such as auto body parts, surf, skateboards etc
